Process Development Technologist
FeyeCon is a young rapidly growing company focusing on process and product development. FeyeCon develops, designs and implements supercritical carbon dioxide applications for various industrial branches, including the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries. FeyeCon is the major global player in this field. Through creative solutions FeyeCon provides quick answers to our business-to-business relationships in order to supply them with better products and cleaner processes. FeyeCon has an extensive IP/technology portfolio on food, pharmaceutical and materials technologies. We operate GMP and HACCP facilities for development work and toll production of solid formulations.
To further strengthen our capabilities in the above-mentioned fields, we are looking for a Process Development Technologist.
Description
You serve clients worldwide in the development and implementation of processes for food, pharmaceutical and advanced materials. In an open and entrepreneurial environment, you pursue projects in multidisciplinary teams using your specific knowledge. You are responsible for the process and equipment development in FeyeCon’s research teams. With a hands-on mentality you develop prototypes for novel process/product concepts in our (pilot-plant) facilities. Through your network of contacts at companies and universities and an up–to–date branch knowledge you initiate new projects.
Profile
• University degree (PhD preferred) in (Bio)chemical // Mechanical Engineering
• Several years of experience in an equivalent function.
• Scientific and practical skills to develop applicable solutions to problems.
• Strong knowledge in at least 1 of the following fields: (bio) separation science, thermodynamics,
process design, equipment design.
• Knowledge of supercritical fluid technology is an advantage, but not required.
• You are creative, dynamic, flexible, goal oriented and can operate in a commercial setting.
• You have excellent English (oral and written) communication skills. Dutch is an advantage.
