Project Leader - Food Technology Specialist
To strengthen new developments in the field of food process and product technology, we are looking for a Project leader – Food Technology Specialist.
Description
As project leader you acquire and serve clients worldwide at the development of food products/processes. In an open and entrepreneurial environment, you take along projects in small teams using your specific knowledge in the field of food technology, e.g. food texturizing, ingredient isolation and ingredient formulation. With a hands-on mentality you develop prototypes for novel product /process concepts in our (pilot-plant) facilities. Through your network of contacts at companies and universities and up-to-date branch knowledge you initiate new projects.
Profile
• An academic education in the field of food technology/biochemical engineering. A PhD or otherwise scientific experience in the field of protein processing is highly recommended. Experience in the field of high pressure processes is an advantage but not required.
• Theoretically well-grounded and capable in converting an idea into a practical application.
• Ability to work in team projects and ability to grow to project leadership.
• Ability to become a figure head for the company on your field of expertise.
