Dr. Ir. Maaike van Roosmalen
CEO / Manager Pharmaceutical Technology
After completing her PhD in Chemical Engineering at Delft University of Technology in 2003 Dr. Van Roosmalen joined the FeyeCon team. In addition to her current corporate and pharmaceutical managing roles, she further acts as FeyeCon’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control manger.
Dr. Van Roosmalen specializes in dry cleaning with high pressure CO2, water-free textile dyeing and other green chemistry processes. She is responsible for over 10 publications, multiple patents and extensive project management in the field of carbon dioxide technology.
Ir. Ernst Siewers
Vice Director
Current Vice Director, Ernst Siewers, is one of FeyeCon’s earliest team members, having joined the company in the 1990s. He has played a fundamental role in the development of FeyeCon’s revolutionary CO2 processes, including textile dyeing, drying and extraction. Moreover his proven equipment designs are leaders in the industry.
Dr. Ir. Gerard Hofland
Manager Food Technology
Dr. Hofland holds a PhD in Chemical Technology, after completion of which he joined FeyeCon in 2001. He specializes in a range of CO2 processes, including particle formation, encapsulation and protein stabilization. He currently manages FeyeCon’s development of food applications of CO2 technology. Dr. Hofland’s research has led to 6 patents and he has authored or co-authored 20 publications.
Dr. Daniela Trambitas
Manager Process & Equipment Technology
Formerly a Post Doc Researcher at the Delft University of Technology, Dr. Trambitas has been with FeyeCon since 2006. She currently manages a diverse department at FeyeCon, which is responsible for the design, construction and implementation of CO2 processes and equipment. Dr. Trambitas has co-authored 4 patents and has had 20 scientific papers printed in international journals. Her research specialization includes crystallization, encapsulation and particle formation.
Dipl.Chem. Andreas Weber
Manager Renewable Technology
Andreas Weber began his career at FeyeCon in 2008, after having been the chief of Research & Development at a Korean biotech firm for several years. He has been specializing in carbon dioxide technology since 1997. Currently he manages FeyeCon’s development of CO2 technology in the renewable sector. He specializes in natural feedstock processing, new processes with ionic liquid, supercritical fluids, as well as analytical chemistry.
Erin Normile-Elzinga
Manager Business Services
Mrs. Normile-Elzinga joined the FeyeCon team in 2008 and has since worked to develop the company’s communications, public relations, human resources management and administration. She has previous experience in event management, PR, lobbying and international relations. Mrs. Normile-Elzinga received a Master’s degree in International Relations & Diplomacy from Leiden University in 2007.
