FeyeCon develops procedures for cleaning materials, thereby upgrading your product from raw material to food grade product. Most of these procedures involve a treatment with high-pressure carbon dioxide.
ADVANTAGES
All processes are gentle, thereby preserving the physical properties of the material of interest. High pressure treatment is proven to be an effective means of killing micro-organisms. The combination of high static pressure, pressure release, shear and CO2 acidification reduce the survival of numerous types of bacteria. With small additions of additives, the technique is also applicable for the removal of fungi and spores.
This cold temperature sterilization technology is interesting for heat and hydrolysis sensitive materials. Low temperature sterilization may be also incorporated into other processes such as extraction, impregnation, and drying.
